WEBSITE:
There is SO MUCH MORE to see in person than what we feature on the website. New items are added weekly. Don't see what you’re looking for? Call to request a particular item, we may have it!

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO VISIT THE SHOP:
To check out our inventory in person, schedule an appointment to visit the store. Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email, or through the "CONTACT US" page on our website. You are always welcome to visit during our scheduled hours of M, T, Th 8-2; F & S 10-5; Su 11-4. (Winter Hours Dec-March Th 8-2; F & S 10-5; Su 11-4 - call or email to check the current schedules.)

RENTAL PERIOD:
Rental items can be kept for a period of up to 36 hours. We do not charge per day. If you need to keep items out longer, a per-diem charge of 20% of the total order will be added per day. (Ex: a total order of $180 would be an $36 per-diem charge).

RESERVE AN ORDER:
Rental items should be reserved for your date as early as possible. Many of our items are unique and there are no duplicates. If you have your heart set on one of our pieces, the early bird will get the worm! To reserve an order, you will need to fill out an order form (available at our rental location or obtained via email) AND make a reservation deposit of 50% of the total rental price of items. Payments can be made via cash, Venmo, PayPal or any major credit cards. RESERVATION DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, but are exchangeable for different items upon availability. After the 50% reservation deposit is paid, any unwanted items are deleted from the 50% balance due. Items can be deleted or exchanged from the order until 1 month prior to the event date pending availability. During the final month, no changes can be made to the order, and no refunds will be given. The final balance due needs to be paid one week prior to your event.

We require a valid credit card be kept on file for all rental orders and is stored in assurance of damages, accessorial fees, last minute additions to the rental reservation, etc. Payment will be processed via card provided on file. At this time, we do not accept personal checks.


EVENT CANCELLATIONS:
In the case of your event getting cancelled, the 50% reservation deposit is not refundable. If you have paid your balance in full, we will refund any amount over 50%. Due to reserving the items for your date, we have lost the opportunity to rent the items to other customers on that date. In the case of your event date getting postponed or changed, we will honor your 50% reservation deposit for the new date providing the items are available.

AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS:
It is understood that in the rental business, inventory items occasionally get damaged or lost by previous customers, and may not be available to fulfill your order. We will do our best to replace broken/lost items with another item of similar appearance. However, due to the nature of our unique items, some items are irreplaceable. In the event that a customer's reserved item needs to be replaced with another item, you will be contacted and given your choice of another item of equal value. It is also understood that our Inventory items are VINTAGE, and may have chipping paint, scratches, dents, and other imperfections at time of delivery. These imperfections add to their unique charm and are not considered defects.

PURCHASING ITEMS:

The purchase price is 5x the rental price, as long as it’s not rented for a future event - we are happy to sell our inventory. Contact us for availability.


CHINA CARE:
For china rentals, goblets. cake-stands, food-serving pieces, etc: all china and dishes must be returned clean and hand-washed, NO DISHWASHER USE. China must be washed with dish soap, rinsed, and dried. China dishes must be returned in the same racks they are sent in. For clients who prefer less hassle, china can be returned dirty (we ask you to at least scrape off food), and we will hand-wash them upon return, for a fee of $.45 per dish.

LINEN CARE:
Lace Runners and Doilies: lace doilies require special care; please do NOT attempt to clean our antique lace. Doilies that are returned with stains, candle-wax, etc...will be charged a dry-cleaning fee.

CHALKBOARD CARE:
Chalkboards may ONLY be written on with REAL CHALK. Do NOT wipe chalkboards with water. "Chalk Markers" or "Bistro Markers" do NOT wipe off of chalkboards ~ they may NOT be used. Chalkboards that are returned with permanent marker that does not wipe clean with a dry eraser, WILL BE CHARGED a re-painting fee of $10 per board.


WINDOW/ GLASS CARE:
Windows & glass mirrors may be written on with "Chalk Markers" or "Bistro Markers", that are specially made to write on glass, and are stated to wipe clean from glass surfaces with water. Certain markers do not wipe off with water, and must be cleaned with paint-remover; if we must use paint-remover to clean your item, you will incur a cleaning fee of $15/hr.


CANDLE/ WAX CARE:

Candle-sticks, candelabras, votives, etc... must be returned clean & free from melted wax. ONLY use "Goo-gone" and a soft clean rag to clean wax off candlesticks. Do NOT use water or any chemical cleaners to clean candlesticks. You will be charged a cleaning fee for melted wax left on our items, at a rate of $15/hour . Glass cylinders may be cleaned with glass cleaner (like Windex) and a paper towel or terry cloth.

INVENTORY CARE/FEES:
We expect that all rental items will be well cared-for during your rental period. Items must be returned in the same condition as when you picked them up. Items should be cleaned. Nothing may be left outdoors overnight, due to theft & weather damage. Any rental items that get damaged beyond repair while in your care, get charged a replacement fee of 5x the rental price. Items that can be repaired, will be charged a repair fee. Items that are excessively dirty, you will be charged a cleaning fee of $15/hour. Items that are NOT RETURNED are charged a replacement fee of 5x the rental price. Items that are returned late, beyond the 36 hour rental period, will be charged per-diem late fees of 20% of the rental cost. After we have inspected your returned items, you will be notified if you have incurred any fee.

DELIVERY:
You are expected to bring 2 people to lift and load furniture. We will have your order packed and ready to be picked up from our ground-floor location, but we will not load your vehicle. If you require delivery, we can schedule based on availability with Someone Else’s Pickup for an additional fee.
