This lantern features a Classic rectangular body with an arched top and a brass handles. The lantern has three glass panels and a door to one side. The interior has a glass globe marked Anchor and a small compartment for the oil to be stored. Measures approx 24”t (26” including top handle) x 12.5 w x 8” d. Used on a ship most likely in the late 1800s. It is stamped on the back “Made in Britain” and is in remarkable shape. We grabbed this from an estate in Connecticut.
